HOW WE WORK

Editorial policy

Our source standards, corrections process, and approach to Windows safety.

Purpose and scope

We publish informational explainers about Sparkle Debloater and built-in Windows features. We aim to provide original comparisons and conservative decision frameworks, rather than repeat software marketing claims or encourage unnecessary downloads.

Source hierarchy

For statements about Sparkle features we consult the public project documentation and repository. For Windows functionality and recovery, Microsoft documentation takes priority. We link to sources on individual guides. We may describe our own practical reasoning, clearly distinguishing it from a documented feature.

No testing claims without testing

We have not run controlled benchmarks for the published launch collection and do not present them as independently tested. We make no warranties about safety, system speed, privacy outcomes or compatibility with a particular device.

Security-first editing

We do not recommend disabling antivirus, firmware protections or critical security controls to obtain unverified speed gains. We distinguish a restore point from a personal-file backup and describe when changes might be difficult to reverse.

Corrections and update practice

Articles have a publication date and source references. The publisher reviews technical corrections when submitted to its listed editorial address. If a source is updated, we may revise a guide and change its visible modification date; we do not claim live monitoring of Sparkle releases.

Editorial responsibility

Roberta Henderson is the publisher responsible for this independent guide. The content is educational desk research and does not represent certified software testing or professional support. Editorial corrections can be sent to editor@wintweakatlas.top.

Commercial independence

The launch edition has no software sales, download buttons, commissions, affiliate offers, sponsored posts or third-party advertising scripts.

Authorship and editorial assistance

Articles are attributed to Windows Tweak Atlas as a publication. The launch collection was prepared with writing and site-building assistance, then organized around cited public material. No named individual is presented as an expert tester; editorial responsibility rests with publisher Roberta Henderson; a public email is available for corrections. Claims should be rechecked before each major update.

What we do when evidence is incomplete

We distinguish a software feature description from evidence that it changes real-world performance. If dependable evidence is missing, we use conditional language rather than inventing test results, security assurances or numerical gains. When Microsoft guidance and a generic tweak claim conflict, we put the supported Windows security and recovery guidance first.

Corrections and material changes

Readers can report factual mistakes using our contact page. Corrections to safety or compatibility claims take priority. A material revision must update both the visible modification date and structured metadata, and describe the changed recommendation where relevant. Routine formatting changes should not be represented as a newly researched article.
